JOSH WALDREP
Josh was an amazing young man with a kind soul, a big smile, and a laugh that would light up any room. The person that said “It’s not the years in your life but the life in your years,” had Josh in mind. At the age of six, Josh was diagnosed with (CVS) Cyclic Vomiting Syndrome. CVS is similar to a migraine disorder but characterized by stomach pain and nausea. Many of Josh’ s CVS cycles lasted weeks on end and required him to be hospitalized to receive IV fluids and pain medication. Once the cycle was over, he was ready to go with a smile on his face and a zest for life. Not many people have the same positive outlook, especially when faced with a chronic debilitating disability. Josh graduated from Carrollton High School and was a staff member at the University of West Georgia. He unexpectedly passed away November 17, 2022. During his 25 years on this earth, Josh was described as an avid horseman who enjoyed hunting, golfing, and was a diehard fan of the Carrollton Trojans, UWG athletics, and Georgia Bulldogs. Josh never met a stranger and was loved by many for his infectious smile and joy of life. If only we all could Live Like Josh.
